ENL range is suited to general use and has a 15 year design life in standby conditions.

EN series provide high rate discharge performance and a life of over 12 years.

Both are part of Yuasa’s Endurance Range, which covers batteries of 2, 4 or 6V output, rated from 80Ah to 540Ah.

Common features include: mix-and-match parallel assembly allowing variations in capacity; electrolyte suspension (‘AGM technology’) so that there is no free electrolyte to spill or leak; high gas recombination efficiency to remove the need for forced ventilation and a separate battery room; and case material oxygen index 30.

The batteries are compliant with BS6290-4 and IEC896-2 and meet Eurobat (Association of European Automotive and Industrial Battery Manufacturers) Classifications.

Suitable stand-by applications include telecommunications, UPS and emergency lighting.
